This will mean pay rises for civil servants of up to 8.5% per month and 4-5% on average – The new child benefits
The increases for civil servants that are expected to be announced tomorrow by the government have been “locked in”. Close to 840 euros is the new one entry salary in public.
As SKAI had reported in its report, at the table of the government’s financial staff was equalization of minimum wage in public and private sector. This means for civil servants who do not have 14 salaries – as in the private sector – that the 780 euros of the new entrants to compulsory education in the State, will be made 846 euros per month times 12 months which equals an increase of €66 per month.
This will mean salary increases for civil servants of up to 8.5% per month and 4-5% on average.
The last increase in income policy was 15 years ago, in 2008.
The new child benefits
At the same time, there are also increases in allowances:
- €70 with one child (from €50)
- €120 with two children (from €70)
- €170 with three children (from €120)
Position of responsibility allowance
