Share prices closed at slightly higher levels in today’s session Stock Exchange, amid low trading activity. Due to the high capitalization, the shares of Aegean, Ellactor and GEK TERNA outperformed.

The General Price Index closed at 1,295.91 points, marking an increase of 0.17%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,302.12 units (+0.65%) and a lower price at 1,292.98 units (-0.06%).

The value of the transactions amounted to 69.78 million euros, while 13,721,723 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 0.11%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.73%.

Among the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Aegean Airlines (+8.32%), Ellaktor (+3.63%), GEK TERNA (+3.32%) and Lamda Development (+ 1.26%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Motor Oil (-2.46%), Terna Energy (-1.80%), Alpha Bank (-1.59%), ELPE (-1.24%) and EYDAP (-1.07%).

Of the individual indices, the Constructions (+2.05%) and Technology (+1.95%) indices recorded the biggest increase, while the Oil (-2.13%) and Health indices recorded the biggest losses (-1.16%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Piraeus, trading 2,884,674 and 2,632,350 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by Piraeus with 8.63 million euros and OTE with 6.54 million euros.

59 stocks moved up, 44 down and 17 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Aegean Airlines +8.32% and Space Hellas +7.75%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: VIS -9.14% and Vioter -8.92%.
