Stock prices registered upward trends in today’s session of the Stock Exchange, with the market breaking upwards the resistance of 1,310 points, amid upward movement of the European markets. From the high capitalization, the shares of Viohalco, Motor Oil, Autohellas and ELPE outperformed, while the turnover fluctuated at low levels.

The General Price Index closed at 1,316.27 points, marking an increase of 1.27%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,317.98 units (+1.40%).

The value of the transactions amounted to 73.15 million euros, while 15,399,466 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 1.37%, while the mid-cap index gained 1.30%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Viohalco (+4.75%), Motor Oil (+4.45%), Autohellas (+2.94%), ELPE (+2, 63%), EYDAP (+2.62%) and Mytileneos (+2.33%).

On the contrary, the shares of Ellactor (-1.83%), Terna Energy (-0.74%), GEK TERNA (-0.74%) and Piraeus (-0.24%) fell.

Of the individual indices, the Oil (+3.96%) and Raw Materials (+3.14%) indices recorded the biggest increase, while the Construction (-0.22%) and Health indices recorded small losses (-0.04%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Piraeus and Alpha Bank, trading 4,049,039 and 3,031,357 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by Piraeus with 13.39 million euros and Terna Energy with 7.18 million euros.

68 stocks moved up, 35 fell and 18 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Frigoglass +9.60% and Nafpaktos Textiles +7.89%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Trastor -5.26% and Fieratex -3.31%
