The platform will remain open until the last day of October – Who does not need to make a declaration
By Chrysostomos Tsoufis
The platform opens today for the market pass in order for consumers to receive the last support for this year for the August-October period since o Minister of Finance announced that there will be no 2nd expansion until the end of the year. This second extension that was to be announced by the prime minister at the TIF was “sacrificed” on the altar of the new fiscal reality that shaped the passage of the Daniel term.
The platform will remain open until last day of october. Those who received the first market pass Not required to make a new declaration unless:
– They want to change the way they will receive their money, i.e. from a digital debit card to a bank account or vice versa
-They wish to change the bank account to which the money will be deposited, so they must declare a new IBAN.
Based on what has been announced so far, the payment of the allowance will be made in one installment as follows:
-Until September 29 for those who got the first marketpass and are eligible again. Also those who will submit their application by September 25. Provided, of course, for both categories that their tax returns have been cleared by September 25.
-Until November 5 for those who submit their applications after September 25 and for those whose tax returns are cleared after September 25.
Since the money for a month varies depending on the size of the household from €22 to €100, beneficiaries will receive from €66 to €300 if they choose the digital debit card method. If they choose to deposit into their bank account, they will receive 80% of the aid, €53 to €240.
Beneficiaries are all natural persons regardless of marital status with an income of up to €16,000 for singles, up to €24,000 for married people, with an additional €5,000 for each protected member or guest. An asset criterion of €250,000 for the unmarried and €400,000 for the married is also foreseen.
The digital debit card can be used until December 31st, after which it is canceled and the money is lost. For those who had also obtained the market pass1, a new card is not issued, the validity of the one they have is simply extended. New cards are available for new beneficiaries. It goes without saying that there is no time limit for using the money deposited in a bank account.
