The new way of paying debts and arrangements is available to taxpayers from today, at myAADE (myaade.gov.gr). Now, they can pay their debts through the online payment service, IRIS, supported by DIAS (Interbank Systems) and in which Alpha Bank, NBG, Eurobank and Piraeus participate.
The benefits
• The payment of debts to myAADE through IRIS offers immediate credit of the debts, without the delay of 1-4 days, which is valid when the payment is made directly in the web banking of the Bank and then AADE is informed.
• Thus, those who need immediate repayment of debts for reasons such as issuing tax information or repaying arrangements, with payments via IRIS or myAADE payment card will be able to immediately issue the relevant receipts.
• In addition, the payment of tax debts through IRIS is subject to the limit of the maximum amount declared by the user for credit transfers to his electronic bank account.
The condition
• Prerequisite is to maintain a web banking account in one of the above banks. They can then, through the myAADE portal, be automatically transferred to their bank environment, where they complete the payment, using the web banking codes.
The process
Specifically, when the user, through the Digital portal myAADE (myaade.gov.gr), selects, “Debts, payments and repayments”, and then:
(a) “Debt settlement and payment” or
b) “Settings and payment”,
The 2 payment methods, payment card and IRIS, are displayed at the top of the screen.
• For the completion of the transaction through IRIS, after the “check and payment”, the four available banks appear: Alpha Bank, Ethniki, Eurobank and Piraeus.
• After the selection of the bank, the user is transferred to the familiar electronic banking environment, which he uses, where the payment is completed by electronic credit transfer directly from his bank account.
• At the end, the system automatically returns the user to the myAADE environment and the successful completion of the transaction at the bank is displayed on the screen, along with its necessary details: Transaction number, date, time and amount.
