The number of companies open in the state of São Paulo this year reached a new record, according to the State’s Secretariat for Economic Development.
The amount of constitutions registered by Jucesp (Commercial Board of the State of SP) points to more than 236 thousand new projects from January to October, which represents about 5% more than that registered in the entire year 2019, before the pandemic, and so far the largest number of constitutions of the previous 23 years, according to the secretariat.
Last month, around 25 thousand companies were opened in SP, pointed out as the best month of October in the historical series since 1998.
The capital of São Paulo also registered a record with 99 thousand new constitutions in the year.
