The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs provides clarifications following questions from beneficiaries of special purpose compensation with unilateral responsible statements.
Specifically, in an announcement, he points out the following:
«1. The provision of article 170 of law 4876/2021, provided that the special seasonal allowance of article 22 of law 1836/1989 of OAED for 2021, is paid regardless of the branch of their insurance days in the year 2020, provided that they received this assistance in 2019 or 2020. The deadline for submitting the relevant application has been extended until February 28, 2022 and OAED informs all beneficiaries.
Therefore, there is no cause for concern for those of the beneficiaries who have not appeared in the ‘individual insurance accounts’ stamps of 2020, which is due to technical reasons, which are expected to be settled in the near future.
2. Regarding the stamps of 2021 for the beneficiaries of special purpose compensation with unilateral responsible declarations in the field of tourism-food, etc., it is announced that the process of appearing the stamps in the ‘individual insurance accounts’ is completed in the first ten days of February. For some beneficiaries, due to the inability to identify their data, as well as due to errors in the applications submitted, this process is expected to be completed gradually, by the end of this month.
3. With regard to the 2021 stamps for artists, creators, art professionals, etc., who have become beneficiaries of special purpose compensation, after submitting a unilateral solemn declaration, the process of controlling and cross-checking the data between the different information systems has already begun and is expected to be completed within the current month.
It is noted that, from March 2020 onwards, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has covered with suspensions of employment contracts, special purpose allowances, after unilateral declarations, special allowances, etc., 3 million employees and unemployed. This coverage has been substantial throughout the two years and there has been an effort to pay all the relevant benefits on time, with the obvious administrative burden. It is understood that the submission of the Detailed Periodic Statements (APD) by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs requires a lot of time, as it is a complex and complex task, which not only requires a large number of checks and cross-references of the files of the Information System “ERGANI” with those of e-EFKA, but is also being implemented in a difficult period, due to the special conditions created by the coronavirus pandemic “, the announcement states.
Finally, it is emphasized that a possible delay in the submission of the Detailed Periodic Declarations of the year 2021, in no case implies for the beneficiaries the loss of the right to receive the regular unemployment benefit, provided that the other conditions required for its grant are met.
It is also clarified that the ministry will ensure that the delayed appearance of stamps for the months of 2021 for the beneficiaries of special purpose compensation with unilateral declarations, does not constitute an obstacle to obtaining insurance capacity.
For the course of the submission of the DPAs there will be a new information from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in the coming days.
