The stock market presented a picture of stagnation today Thursday with the indices moving in very narrow variation limits reflecting the lack of strong incentives in the market.
The General Index closed with losses of 0.16% at 1,273.33 units. The large-cap index fell by 0.1% and the mid-cap index by 0.06%. The Banks index remained under pressure losing 1.51%.
The transaction turnover amounted to 89.586 million euros and the volume at 26,290,000 pieces. Overall, 70 stocks advanced, 30 declined and 47 remained unchanged. Losses were recorded by the shares of Eurobank (-1.53%), Alpha Bank (-0.67%), National Bank (-3.23%), EXAE (-2.38%), while gains were recorded by OTE (1 .53%), PPC (1.12%) Entersoft (0.92%).
