With the exception of the jump in turnover – due to the packages from its placement HelleniQ Energy – the last meeting of the week was identical to the previous ones in Athens Stock Exchange. Stock indices remained on a narrow range reflecting the lack of direction in the market.

THE General Index rose 0.14% to close at 1,275.09, the large-cap index gained 0.23% and the mid-cap index fell 0.44%. The Banks index closed with losses of 0.48%. The General Index recorded losses of 0.02% on a weekly basis.

The daily turnover jumped to 327.4 million euros, of which 248.8 million were 23 packages of HelleniQ Energy. Volume stood at 53.28 million units. HelleniQ Energy’s stock fell 5.58%. The shares of Ellactor, OPAP, Aegean moved up, while Alpha Bank, National Bank and PPA fell.
