Caixa releases new batch of allowance; see PIS 2022 calendar

Caixa released this Thursday (10) the PIS salary bonus for workers from private companies born in February.

The payment of the benefit of up to one minimum wage (R$ 1,212) started this Tuesday (8), with those born in January. Customers queued at branches and complained of difficulty in accessing digital means of payment of the benefit on the first day of releases, such as the Caixa Tem app.

In February, the benefit will be paid to those born between January and June. In March, it will be the turn of those born in the remaining months.

You can receive those who worked with a formal contract for at least 30 days, consecutive or not, in 2020. It is also necessary to meet the following requirements:

• Be registered in the PIS or Cnis program for at least five years — that is, the first formal job must have taken place in 2015 or earlier

The amount of the salary bonus changes according to the number of months worked in the reference year. If the beneficiary worked all year 2020, he will receive a minimum wage, which in 2022 is R$1,212. If you worked one month, you will receive R$ 101. How to withdraw the PIS

Workers who have a current or savings account at Caixa and had the amount deposited this Tuesday can withdraw it with their magnetic card and identification document at Caixa branches, lottery shops, electronic terminals and Caixa Aqui correspondents.

Those who received through Digital Social Savings can move the amount in the Caixa Tem app. To make withdrawals, it is necessary to select the option “Withdraw without card” in the Caixa Tem application, generate the code for withdrawing the money and use it at Caixa self-service terminals, lottery units and Caixa Aqui correspondent stations.

If the worker does not have an account at Caixa and the bank has not been able to open the digital savings in his name, the withdrawal can be carried out in person at the branch with presentation of the PIS number and an official photo document, such as RG or driver’s license.

It is also possible to withdraw using the Citizen Card with the password at self-service terminals, lottery units and Caixa Aqui stations, according to the payment schedule.
