The administration of e-EFKA announces that, with the payment of the February 2024 pension, which will be paid at the end of January 2024, the process of netting the extra amounts that were wrongly paid to the bank accounts will be completed
In the context of the settlement of the financial impasse, which had been created in March 2023, with the failure by the contractor company regarding the amounts of pensions that were prepaid at the end of February 2023 to 572,000 pensioners (related press release was issued on 16/3/2023, https://www.efka.gov.gr/el/deltia-typoy/deltio-typoy-191), the management of e-EFKA announces that, with the payment of the February 2024 pension, which will be paid at the end of January 2024, the netting process of the extra amounts that were wrongly paid to the bank accounts of the above has been completed.
The pensioners who were affected by the above failure had personalized information within the same month (3rd/2023) through the posting of their monthly settlement notes on the website e-EFKA. In these notes, the excess amount that was paid was explicitly mentioned.
It is reminded that the total excess amount, paid in March 2023, amounted to 15.5 million euros, that is, an average of 26 euros per pensioner, while the vast majority of these pensioners received additional amounts from 0.1 euros to 50 euros.
