The Action Plan of the Independent Public Revenue Authority for the 2024 presented today by its Commander AADE, George Pitsilis.
The actions focus on providing optimal services to citizens and businessesin the promotion of innovation and digitization and the operational upgrading of the Organizationwhile are developed in three main axes:
What’s coming in 2024 in audits, digital service tools and operating model
Tax Compliance
The strategic direction is the ongoing facilitation of taxpayer compliance and at the same time the constant prevention of avoiding their obligations. As Mr. Pitsilis said: “We want to make it easy to be consistent and hard to avoid.”
Presented:
* The new digital control tools, such as the POS-cash register interface, digital shipping slip, pilot digital customer register, myData mandatory, digital control of signs and CONTROLlive2.0
* The interoperability of data acquisition and utilization with maturing projects, such as the interface with the Land Registry, real-time recording of changes in Shareholders, Capital, Managers with GEMI & Register of Beneficial Beneficiaries, receiving data from foreign payment institutions
* The pre-filling of important data for income tax returns
* The priorities of Customs and Chemicals with the implementation of a new regulatory framework for supervision and control of the fuel supply chain, completion of the fuel input-output project, centralization of control of customs documents and upgrading of operational capacity of Chemical Services
New model of organization and operation of AADE
The new operating model of AADE was presentedwhich is already being implemented, to meet the increased demands of the operational fields.
Particularly, next generation services were analyzed which include:
* Central headquarters, which houses most of AADE’s staff services
* Special regional centers for control, certification and collection, real estate taxation and citizen service
* Local service services, as an evolution of the DOU in Attica and Thessaloniki
* Special control powers
Serving Citizens and Businesses with new digital tools
* Mobile apps: Mobile application for tax services (tax payment, personalized updates and alerts, wallet with important tax documents) and possibility to issue an invoice and shipping slip from the mobile
* KEF & AI chatbot: Enhanced AADE Call Center and artificial intelligence Chatbot to provide information and navigate AADE’s digital services
* End-to-end digital business interruption
* Detailed digital certificates of the Registry with QR
* TIN for minors (phase 2, minors from 1 to 12 years)
* Interface with GEMI for new changes of other legal entities
* End-to-end digital changes of headquarters and KAD of a company
* Succession of heirs in the administration of the deceased
* Application access authorizations
* Reduction of ENFIA on the insured properties
* Digitization of other capital tax returns
* Automatic completion of E9 on donations and parental property benefits
* Registry of Property Ownership and Management
* Simplifications in the personal income tax certificate
* New AADE website
Customs digital services
* Single Window (Pre-Customs Procedures)
* Automation of the export finalization process
* Automatic finalization of import declarations – Automatic sending of the Customs Goods Delivery Permit
* Automatic rendering of electronic payment identity related to customs debts
* Digitization of entry-exit and transfer slips for domestic goods in Free Zones
