The government is bringing it earlier this year as well readjustment of it minimum wage.
Amendment which Labor Minister Domna Michailidou is promoting in the Parliament a new schedule for the minimum wage to increase from April 1st.

The amendment
In the Individual Labor Law Code (p.d. 80/2022, A’ 222), article 134A is replaced as follows:
“Article 134A
Determination of minimum wage for the year 2024
Especially for the conduct of the procedure of article 134 in the year 2024, the deadlines of paragraph 4 and paragraph a) of paragraph 6 are determined as follows:
a) The sending of a written invitation by the Coordinating Committee of the consultation, according to sub-para. b) of para. b) of par. 4 takes place until February 5, 2024.
b) The preparation and submission of the report of sub-para. b) of para. b) of par. 4 take place no later than February 19, 2024.
c) The transmission of the memorandum and the documentation of each person consulted by the Coordination Committee of the consultation to the other representatives of the social partners, with an invitation for oral consultation, according to sub-para. c) of c. b) of par. 4, takes place no later than February 26, 2024.
d) The transmission of all the memoranda and documentation of the consulted parties, as well as the report of the specialized scientific and research bodies to the Center for Planning and Economic Research (K.E.P.E.) in order to draw up a Plan for the Conclusion of the Consultation, according to subsection b) of para. b) of par. 4, takes place no later than March 1, 2024.
e) The Draft of the Consultation Conclusion is completed, according to sub-para. b) of para. b) of par. 4, no later than March 15, 2024.
f) The recommendation of the Minister of Labor and Social Security to the Council of Ministers, for the determination of the minimum wage of employees and the minimum daily wage of artisans, according to paragraph a) of par. 6, shall be submitted by March 22, 2024 at the latest.
g) For the rest, paragraphs 1 to 6 apply.”
