by

The virtual card that C&A launched in December, after announcing the separation of its financial services partnership with Bradesco, reached 500,000 customers, according to the retailer.

The average ticket for purchases made by C&A Pay, as C&A’s own card was called, was R$236. The company’s survey also points to an average payment in installments of five months.

In two months of operation of the new means of payment, the fashion chain registered greater adhesion in the Northeast and Southeast regions, which represent more than 50% of active accounts.

The company says it has other functions and services integrated with C&A Pay in plans to launch over the next few months.

In the gradual transition defined between the parties, C&A will continue, until the end of this year, with the two cards, the new digital C&A Pay and the C&A card, in partnership with Bradescard.
