More than 100 teams of auditors took part in the operation, with central coordination by the AADE Chamber of Commerce
A coordinated operation of checks, in 651 places, in major cities of Greece, was carried out by 100 groups of auditors of the Independent Public Revenue Authority, on February 14, Valentine’s Day.
Businesses in the sectors of production and trade of sweets and pastries (confectioneries, etc.), trade of plants and gift items (florists), provision of beauty services (hairdressers, beauty centers), retail trade of clothes and shoes, trade of jewelry, as well as restaurants were audited.
More than 100 groups of auditors took part in the operation, with central coordination from the AADE Chamber of Commerce.
The controls, this time, showed greater compliance than in the past. Almost 3/4 of the businesses regularly implemented the law, issuing and passing on receipts.
182 companies with tax violations were identified, with the delinquency rate reaching 28%. 6 of them, in Attiki, Patras, Rhodes and Komotini, were locked down for 48 hours.
