First day of application of the new anti-accuracy measures and both the market and the consumers are in the phase of mutual adjustment and determination.

According to government data, nearly 3,900 product codes will experience a price reduction and they will be more accessible to consumers, who, however, keep… a small basket, as they have suffered a great loss of their disposable income from the successive “explosions” of accuracy.

According to the Ministry of Development, reductions in price lists start from 5% and reach up to 42% in some cases.

Most consumers rushed on Friday to Super Marketin order to determine if prices have really fallen and by what percentage.

THE SKY spoke to citizens and the first finding is that consumers looked on supermarket shelves for the reduced prices announced by the government. “In some I saw a small decrease, it’s the truth… let’s see,” said a citizen.

Price comparisons yesterday and today show that prices are lower for several products. In a branded bubble bath that consumers found at 5.38 euros, from Friday they find it 20% cheaper, i.e. 4.32 euros. Cream soap from 3.60 euros, reduced to 3.10 euros, i.e. -14%, while detergent 42 scoops 1+1 from 13.98 fell to 12.67.
