The suspension of enforcement actions on movable or immovable property for natural persons and businesses affected by the heavy rains, floods and landslides of September 2023 in the Region of Thessaly is extended for an additional six months, by decision of the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis.

This decision continues until September 4, 2024 the suspension of auctions, confiscations, removals and personal reservations, as well as the deadlines for exercising remedies and aids related to pending enforcement procedures on the movable or immovable property of natural and legal persons, excluding the requirements for alimony defined by a previous decision (Government Gazette B’ 6444/10.11.2023).

It is noted that before the modification of the decision, the suspension was valid until March 4, 2024.

Beneficiaries of the suspension are businesses that are certified as affected by a certificate from the Region of Thessaly and are included in the framework of state aid to affected businesses, as well as natural persons, who are certified to have suffered damage to their homes, in the context of their inclusion in the provision scheme housing assistance and compensation for household goods.
