A new rise was noted by value of real estate owned by natural persons and companies that own property in Greece, according to the data published by AADE, on the occasion of the X-ray of LIGHT for 2024.

Specifically, the total objective value of 7,159,164 natural legal entitiesamounts to 771.9 billion eurosincreased by 2.5 billion euros compared to 2023. In fact, the largest percentage of this property, almost 53%, is located in Attica.

In particular, the 2,549,919 taxpayers who live in the Capital region, have in their hands real estate with a total value exceeding 409 billion euros.

Regarding the total Tax, the processing of the data shows that of the 7,159,164 natural and legal persons who received an ENFIA settlement, 991,860 property owners were exempted from paying ENFIA with a zero settlement.

The tax that the remaining 6,167,304 natural and legal persons are required to pay amounted to a total of 2.286 billion euros. A discount to ENFIA of up to 10% was won by 215,171 taxpayers with insured houses for earthquake, fire and flood.

The data per Region, after the processing of the ENFIA clearances, show the following picture:

1. The 2,226,723 property owners (individuals and businesses) residing in Attica will pay 1.2 billion euros for their real estate with the value of their properties exceeding 409 billion euros.

2. In the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, the 337,700 property owners have real estate worth 23.7 billion euros and pay tax of 74.77 million euros

3. In the North Aegean Region, the 127,424 real estate owners own real estate worth 11.34 billion euros and pay tax of 33.3 million euros.

4. In the Region of Western Greece, 354,111 taxpayers own properties worth 28.5 billion euros and pay a tax of 83.89 million euros.

5. In the Region of Western Macedonia, 160,858 taxpayers own real estate worth 10.16 billion euros and pay a tax of 34.23 million euros.

6. In the Region of Epirus, 184,026 property owners have real estate worth 17.5 billion euros for which they pay a tax of 43.7 million euros.

7. In the Region of Thessaly, 400,846 taxpayers own real estate worth 33 billion euros and the tax they are required to pay amounts to 96.33 million euros.

8. In the Ionian Islands Region, the 139,556 owners of properties worth €16.36 billion pay a tax of €48.63 million.

9. In the Region of Central Macedonia, 1,061,286 taxpayers have real estate of 100.1 billion euros and pay tax of 292.99 million euros.

10. In Crete, 364,000 taxpayers with properties worth 41.46 billion. euros are charged with a tax of 122 million euros.

11. In the South Aegean, the 176,999 property owners worth 25.62 billion euros pay a tax of 78.84 million euros.

12. In the Peloponnese, the 346,765 property owners worth 31.55 billion euros are charged with a tax of 93.9 million euros.

13. In the Region of Central Greece, 287,010 property owners worth 22.99 billion euros pay a tax of 70 million euros.
