Drivers have a week to pay the 2022 road tax, as the deadline is set for Monday 28 February.
The same date applies to those who wish to immobilize their cars to avoid fines.
Regarding the payment of traffic fees 2022, this year, it is done only electronically. Vehicle owners should log in to the AADE myCar platform, using the Taxis codes and select the section “Vehicle registration fees”.
Then there is the option to display the notification, which also has a QR code (QR code), with which payment can be made directly, via web banking. For credit card holders it is possible to pay the road tax in 12 interest-free monthly installments. The fines
In case the owner does not manage to pay on time, he will be asked to pay the amount due for the annual traffic fees, with the fine for his late payment ranging as follows:
- equal to the fees, if the vehicle is a two-wheeler / tricycle. or passenger car
- half of the fees, if the vehicle is a passenger D.X. or truck or bus
- 30 euros, if the road tax is less than this amount
If a vehicle owner is unable to pay the annual road tax, he has the option of immobilizing it. This means that he will have to submit his car license plates, with all that entails.
From the moment you submit the license plates, the car can not be moved for any reason either to be immobilized again or to go to service and there are penalties ranging from 10,000 euros if it is found that the car is in circulation even though it has been declared immobile. , up to 30,000 euros in case of recurrence.

With a simple click either from a computer or from a mobile phone, they will be able to put their vehicle in temporary immobility with only the Taxisnet codes, while on the same platform they will be able to pay their traffic fees to be checked online and complete the relevant application. thus submitting their request.

- You are connected to the Unified Digital Portal of AADE Public Administration
- Enter the myCar application
- Enter the Taxisnet codes
- Enter: a) the T.K. of the area, b) the street, c) the number
- Declare the parking space (rented or registered)
- Apply
