Via special digital application of the Independent Public Revenue Authority, taxpayers can now be informed of the outstanding overdue installments of their arrangements, as well as the amounts of any tax refunds and payments pending for credit, in accordance with what is provided for in the pending tax bill “Tax Procedure Code and other provisions”.

In particular, in accordance with article 87 of the bill under consideration, in arrangements with overdue unpaid installments, which based on the written provisions entail their loss, all payments that have been made or will be made, until the law comes into force, i.e. until the publication in the Government Gazette. Any pending tax refunds are also credited to these arrangements.

In a digital file created through the application, the overall picture is thus captured of overdue settlement installments and the corresponding identities of settled debts, as well as the final amount due, as it is formed, after taking into account the outstanding payments, returns and refunds.

The payment of the amount due can be made through the Adjusted Debt ID:

  • exclusively through web banking. Payment via IRIS or card is not available.
  • until the date of entry into force of the pending bill for the revision of the Tax Procedure Code (article 87).

In case of late payment or partial payment of the amount due, there will be a loss of the settings for the remaining amount due.

The application is available through the digital portal myAADE (myaade.gov.gr) in the path: Applications > Tax Services > Adjustments with unpaid overdue installments.

It is pointed out that the process of credits and offsets with tax refunds does not include arrangements that have already been forfeited by an act of the Head of the Ministry of Education.

For their convenience, AADE will notify via mail and messages in their inbox (and in myAADEapp) the 215,000 taxpayers who have arrangements with unpaid installments, which based on the written provisions entail their loss.

For more clarifications, those interested can contact the Taxpayer Service Center of AADE, on the phone 213 162 1000, on working days and hours 07:30 – 17:00.
