Strong bullish trends prevailed in today’s Stock Exchange session with the market moving on an upward trajectory fourth session, returning to the levels of 1,420 units.

The upgrade of the outlook of the Greek bond from stable to positive by Standard & Poor’s and the announcement of a primary surplus significantly higher than the target for 2023 gave impetus to the market.

O General Price Index closed at the highest levels of the day at 1,420.40 unitsnoting strongly 1.99% profit.

The value of transactions amounted to 105.38 million euros, while 22,101,492 shares were traded.

The high-cap index scored up 2.26%while the mid-cap index increased to 1.68%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Quest Participations (+5.66%), Eurobank (+4.69%), Aegean Airlines (+4.33%), Elvalhalcor (+3.05 %), Piraeus (+2.94%), Ellactor (+2.76%), Lamda Development (+2.61%) and Alpha Bank (+2.58%).

On the contrary, only the share of Autohellas (-4.28%) registered a decline.

Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 4,382,856 and 4,298,396 shares, respectively.

Piraeus with 14.42 million euros and Mytileneos with 12.23 million euros recorded the highest value of transactions.

96 stocks moved up, 16 fell and 10 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Minerva +12.28% and Lanakam(k) +8.00%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Autohellas -4.28% and Athens Medical -2.67%.
