The Ministry of Labor and Social Security, with its latest decision, established the full application of the digital work card to companies in the industry and retail sectors, which also include public markets, to start on July 1, 2024.».

This is stated in today’s post of the Pannatic Federation of Market Sellers on its website.

In more detail it is stated that “this decision, published in the Government Gazette, was taken taking into account the market requests from the industry and retail sectors between them and POSPLA having already sent a relevant letter to the leadership of Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance.

In fact, responding to the relevant requests of the representatives of the market sectors, the ministry stated that now everyone will have the necessary time to adapt to the requirements of this complex and multi-level project and to take the necessary actions to synchronize with the new Ergani II information system which will operate from July 1.

The implementation of the digital labor card in the specific sectors including the public markets is inextricably linked to the operation of Ergani II, in order to fully guarantee the rights of the workers as it will also be possible to register in the system any changes to working hours and overtime”.
