Regarding the pensioner employment declaration platform, Mr. Tsakloglou noted that, so far, twice the number of employed pensioners has been registered compared to last year’s corresponding numbers
Legislative regulation, so that the Auxiliary Capitalization Insurance Fund (TEKA) can start its autonomous investment function, announced the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security, Panos Tsakloglouin an interview with One Channel.
As he said, “more than 350,000 people and almost 150,000 businesses that employ them have already registered in TEKA, while the funds under management are still relatively low, around 140 million euros, an amount that is increasing rapidly. At this moment, the default portfolio is being prepared for TEKA’s policyholders and a legislative regulation is needed, which we will soon bring to the Parliament, in order to transfer the funds of the Fund from the Common Capital of the Bank of Greece and to start the autonomous investment operation of TEKA ».
With reference to the pensioner employment declaration platform, Mr. Tsakloglou noted that, so far, twice the number of employed pensioners has been registered compared to last year’s corresponding numbers.
“We expected an increase in the number of working pensioners not so fast and not so big. Already, according to EFKA, the number of people who have registered on the organization’s platform for working pensioners has exceeded 80,000, while, until last year, the people who were declared as working pensioners were around 36,000”.
Also, the deputy minister of labor reiterated that the retirement age limits remain, as they are, until 2027. limit. This exercise was done last year and showed that the difference over the reference period was nil. Therefore, in the next three years, no changes will be made” he said characteristically.
With regard to transfers, Tsakloglou spoke of a spectacular reduction in unemployment, which, however, remains at a relatively high level, while, at the same time, bottlenecks are also observed in sectors such as the agricultural and tourism sectors and construction. As he explained, first an attempt is made to fill the gaps with domestic labor and, when this is not possible, re-calls are made.
“We are promoting interstate agreements, so that both the employers and the workers themselves are guaranteed, in terms of their salary, their work rights and their leave” underlined the Deputy Minister of Labour.
