Cases with a positive diagnosis in laboratory networks continue to fall in Brazil after the explosion of the ômicron, in January.
A Dasa survey points to a reduction of more than 12 percentage points in tests with a positive result between February 14th and 20th compared to the previous week.
In São Paulo, the rate went from 38% to 26% in the period. In Rio de Janeiro, the decline was from 20% to almost 13%.
In Grupo Fleury, the weekly average was 22% among adults examined and 19% among children up to 12 years old. At the end of January, the network reached about 63% of positive results.
DB Molecular says it recorded 41% positive results among adults, just below the average January level of 43%, but still well above the December average of around 7%.
