Equity prices recorded mild downtrends in today’s (Tuesday) session, with the market correcting lower below 1,500 units, after the yesterday’s new record high of 13 yearsamid bearish movement of European markets.

The General Price Index closed at 1,496.35 points, down 0.43%.

Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,492.80 units (-0.66%) and a higher price at 1,503.68 units (+0.06%).

The value of transactions rose at 165.2 million euros, of which 58.31 million euros concern transactions in packages, while 31,596,319 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 0.44%, while the mid-cap index edged up 0.04%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Viohalco (+3.01%), Ellactor (+2.47%) and Alpha Bank (+0.94%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Motor Oil (-3.30%), PPA (-2.39%), Jumbo (-1.45%) and Autohellas (-1.27%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Eurobank and Ethniki, trading 8,516,656 and 5,945,561 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by National Bank with 50.61 million euros and Eurobank with 18.18 million euros.

37 stocks moved up, 58 down and 23 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Doppler +9.52% and Vogiatzoglou Systems +8.13%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Plastics of Crete -3.75% and Kyriakoulis -3.58%.
