The Social Tourism platform for 2024 has been opened.
Through the platform, the electronic applications of beneficiaries and providers will be submitted for their participation in the “Social Tourism Program for workers-unemployed period 2024-2025” of the Public Employment Service (DYPA).
The program starts on July 1, 2024 and concerns 300,000 beneficiaries with a budget of 50 million euros.
As previously reported by skai.gr, according to the DYPA, a total of 23,195 social tourism checks 2023-2024 of the DYPA were activated in tourist accommodations in the country between May 1-31.
The South Sector of Athens emerged as the most popular destination, followed by Evia and Argolis.

It is reminded that holidays can be taken until June 30, 2024. Beneficiaries and beneficiaries can spend up to 6 nights in accommodation they choose from the Register of Providers. Especially for accommodation in Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos, up to 10 nights can be spent free of charge, while for accommodation in Rhodes, North Evia, Evros and Samos, up to 12 nights can be spent free of charge
