Stock prices moved upward today Stock Exchange meeting, with the market recovering after two bearish sessions, breaking above the 1,450 levels. At the center of investment interest were banking shares and especially the share of National Bank, while it was increased the turnover, over 100 million euros.

O General Price Index closed on 1,457.74 unitsup 0.75%.

THE value of transactions amounted to 106.87 million euros, while 20,342,252 shares were traded.

The large-cap index gained 0.86%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.69%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Ethniki (+3.17%), Eurobank (+1.89%), PPC (+1.42%), Jumbo (+1.12 %), Piraeus (-1.08%) and Alpha Bank (+1.00%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Titan (-1.59%), Ellaktor (-0.77%), ELPE (-0.74%) and AIA (-0.70%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 4,398,746 and 3,719,953 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nthniki with 19.44 million euros and Piraeus with 13.47 million euros.

53 stocks moved up, 43 fell and 26 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Pairis +5.77% and Minerva +5.00%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Levenderis (k) -6.37% and Agrotikos Oikos Spyros -5.23%.
