Stock prices closed higher in the last session of the week, with the market exceeding the levels of 1,460 units, moving against the bearish climate of the European markets. Despite the rise in share prices, the turnover fell to low levels, falling below 80 million euros,

The General Price Index closed at 1,464.39 points, marking an increase of 0.46%.

Intra-session recorded a lower price at 1,449.65 points (-0.55%).

On a weekly basis, major stock index rose 0.83%while since the beginning of the year it has recorded gains of 13.24%.

The value of the transactions amounted to 77 million euros, while 17,815,417 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.67%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.39%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Mytileneos (+1.58%), tvn ELPE (+1.55%), Eurobank (+1.39%), Motor Oil (+1, 32%), Piraeus (+1.27%), Ethniki (+1.22%) and PPC (+1.14%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Sarantis (-1.25%), PPA (-0.73%) and Viohalco (-0.51%).

Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 4,607,635 and 4,484,151 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by Eurobank with 9.99 million euros and OTE with 7.89 million euros.

44 stocks moved up, 45 down and 30 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Kecrops +4.61% and Iktinos +3.79%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Daios -10.00% and Sato -9.68%.
