From today, Monday July 22, the sixth payment will begin, in the amount of 2,000,793.30 euros, which concerns the return of unduly paid contributions, branches of auxiliary insurance and welfare, for the years 2019 and 2020 to thousands of professionals.

As the EFKA states in its announcement, it concerns lawyers with a salaried mandate from the private sector and the N.P.I.D. and salaried engineers and health workers in the private and public sector with an employment relationship under private law (I.D.A.X. & I.D.O.X.), debtors or not of the e-E.F.K.A., who submitted an application, through the corresponding electronic service, until 17-7-2024.

The aforementioned procedure for refunding the unduly paid contributions is processed without seeking a tax awareness certificate of the beneficiary.

The amount that will be attributed to the debtors of the e-E.F.K.A “arises after offsetting their total debt (regulated or not) with the originally calculated amount to be refunded of the unduly paid contributions (article 104 par. 1 of the 4387/2016 – Official Gazette 85 A’, as applicable & article 15/D’/90598 Y.A. – Official Gazette 5404 B’) is emphasized in the same announcement.

In this sixth payment, the maximum refunded amount that will be credited to the bank accounts of 996 beneficiaries amounts to 12,211.33 euros.

Finally, it is noted that the operation of the “Electronic Insurance Modification Service for Salaried Lawyers, Salaried Engineers and Health Workers” and the associated “Electronic Service of Refund of Contributions to Salaried Lawyers, Salaried Engineers and Salaried Health Workers” is being extended until June 30, 2025.
