With a reduced interest rate Greek State raised 600 million euros in the auction of six-monthly interest-bearing promissory notes which he performed today.
In particular, the interest rate was set at 3.30% against 3.44% set in the previous auction.

As announced by the Public Debt Management Organization in the auction of 26-week interest-bearing notes, amounting to 500 million Euros. The yield stood at 3.30%. A total of 1,196 million Euros were submitted, which exceeded the requested amount by 2.39 times.
The auction was conducted through Primary Dealers, and the settlement date is Friday, July 26, 2024.
Offers were accepted up to the amount of the auctioned amount, as well as non-competitive offers of 100 million Euros.
No additional non-competitive bids will be accepted on Thursday, July 25, 2024. Please note that no commission is paid during auctions.
In the meantime, next Wednesday, July 31, the State will proceed with the auction of three-month interest-bearing promissory notes with a duration of three months (13 weeks) for a total amount of 500 million euros).
