The stock market closed with significant losses for the third consecutive session, despite the upward reaction of European markets and the upward start of Wall Street.

The stock market since the beginning of the Russian attack on Ukraine has recorded, at the level of a key index, losses of 10.23%, while its total capitalization has decreased by 7 billion euros.

At the same time, however, the large American bank Goldman Sachs gives a vote of confidence in the Greek stock market, estimates that in the next 12 months the General Price Index will rise to 1,175 points (37.89% higher compared to today’s closing) and notes that the The Greek market offers a better risk / reward profile than the S&P 500.

The General Price Index closed at 852.10 points, down 1.66%. Intra-conference, it recorded a lower price at 833.56 points (-3.80%).

The value of the transactions amounted to 177.34 million euros, while 89,132,632 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell by 1.84%, while the mid-cap index fell by 0.92%.

Of the high-capitalization stocks, the shares of Jumbo (+ 4.46%), Ellactor (+ 1.22%), OPAP (+ 0.76%) and Piraeus (+ 0.23%) rose. .

On the contrary, the biggest drop was recorded by the shares of Aegean Airlines (-6.00%), Coca Cola HBC (-5.93%), Eurobank (-4.83%), Ethniki (-4.75%) , Saranti (-4.53%) and PPC (-4.43%).

Of the sub-indices, the largest increase was recorded by the Personal Products (+ 3.97%) and Travel (+ 0.27%) indices, while the largest losses were recorded by the Food (-5.83%) indices. Health (-3.56%) and Banks (-3.12%).

The largest volume of transactions was presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank, circulating 31,417,063 and 26,020,079 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Alpha Bank with 28.588 million euros and Eurobank with 27.777 million euros.

38 stocks moved higher, 87 declined and 15 remained unchanged.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Vioter + 15.15% and Yalco + 11.54%.

The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Haidemenos -11.11% and Nakas -6.25%.
