With a fall, for the second consecutive session, the stock market closed, retreating below the levels of 1,430 units, against the rising mood of the European markets. The share of Coca Cola HBC gave support to the market, while banking shares were at the center of liquidations.

The General Price Index closed at 1,425.36 points, down 0.50%. It initially moved upwards and recorded a higher price at 1,439.51 points (+0.49%).

The value of transactions amounted to 85.77 million. euros, while 18,153,207 shares were traded.

The large-cap index fell 0.76%, while the mid-cap index edged up marginally at 0.04%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Coca Cola HBC (+3.74%), Sarantis (+1.39%), PPA (+0.76%) and Aegean Airlines (+ 0.64%).

On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Piraeus (-1.96%), National (-1.85%), Jumbo (-1.83%), Eurobank (-1.81%) and OPAP (-1.80%).

Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 4,984,103 and 3,905,404 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by National with 12.08 million euros and Motor Oil with 10.35 million euros.

31 stocks moved up, 69 down and 21 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Leventeris (p) +4.50% and Coca Cola HBC +3.74%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Minerva -8.87% and Mermeren -7.30%.
