The ACSP (trade association) predicts that soon the reflex of the war in Ukraine will start to impact the trade and weigh on the pocket of the Brazilian consumer.
The bottlenecks in international trade should reach the end of consumption with pass-through in the price of clothing, footwear and cosmetics, with the increase in logistics costs.
ACSP’s expectation for trade growth this year, which is 1.6% compared to 2021, is maintained. However, the entity already sees a slowdown in retail sales.
The trade association says that the continuation of the conflict could lead to a revision of growth projections, which are already timid.
