Its major investment will be completed in 18 months from today HIG for the “green” Logistics Park in Aspropyrgos, with the works starting within the next 5 months.

This was stated by Konstantinos Bitros, CEO of Inventio Edge, speaking at the 7th Infrastructure and Transport Conference – ITC 2024, which takes place on September 17 and 18 at the Athens Concert Hall – International Conference Center.

The first of a total of three permits for the said project has already been issued, with the procedures matured to start the construction sites within the next 5 months.

As Mr. Bitros revealed, the facilities of the country’s only “trimodal” park will have 18 m robotic warehouses, which will be the first of their kind and of this size in Greece. The building will be LEED Gold, while 25 MW photovoltaics will be installed both for self-consumption and for the wider area.

Also, a bridge will be built that will connect the northern and southern part of the park, so that there will be no traffic burden in the area.

According to Mr. Bitros, the company is in contact with various prospective tenants with the aim of maximum benefit both for the investor and for the country itself.

Referring to the “green” constructions segment, the CEO of Inventio Edge stated that the company is preparing to enter the battery and hydrogen segment, thus aiming for better financing terms and greater capital adequacy.

As he said, “green” elements are now becoming mandatory for finding financing and developing modern buildings, whether it is in the tourism or logistics sector.

He emphasized that the dimension of participation in the social development of the wider region – which is recreated by Inventio Edge – is of great importance for the company itself.

“So part of the speed with which we implement the projects includes this rewarding balance with the respective Municipal Authorities. We are particularly concerned with the well being of the local community where we operate” he concluded.
