The Minister of Development, representing the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, attended the event for the 50th anniversary of FIBRAN
The Minister of Development, Takis Theodorikakos, representing Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, attended the event for FIBRAN’s 50th anniversary.
Mr. Theodorikakos said in his greeting:
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the invitation and the honor you have given me to participate in this very moving and beautiful event for FIBRAN’s 50th anniversary. I would like to express the state’s gratitude and everyone’s admiration for a great Greek company. For an extroverted company based in the region, in Serres, making all Greeks proud with its action at the ends of the earth.
I would also like to convey the greetings of the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who has just returned, as you know, from the United States. The Prime Minister has known FIBRAN and the Anastasiadis family for many years, as he follows very closely the company’s admirable progress and has visited its facilities in Serres several times.
FIBRAN makes us proud for four reasons:
a) because it proved that a Greek company can not only be competitive and successful, but can star as one of Europe’s leaders in its sector, winning on equal terms with international companies from much larger countries abroad.
b) because it confirmed that a company based in a Greek town, Terpni Serron, with 1600 inhabitants can have big dreams.
c) because it proved that a family business can have a glorious history, a great present but also a bright future.
d) because it certified that entrepreneurship is not reflected only in numbers and performance but has soul and emotion, it has a sense of responsibility towards society by offering behind what customers and consumers give it.
The late Dimitris Anastasiadis was a patriot, a benefactor, a proud Greek. His achievements were many: the strengthening of the company, the many modern factories in Greece and abroad, the acquisitions of European companies, the excellent quality of the products, the dedication to the innovation of materials and his contribution to the upgrading of the construction industry in our country and in the world. But Dimitris Anastasiadis also stood out for his love for his place, Terpni and the wider area of Nigrita. There he built school units, a church, a nursing home. There he generously offered support to his fellow citizens, to the people he loved and who loved him.
His greatest achievement was the legacy he created by raising good children and grandchildren. FIBRAN and its 730 employees are in very solid and capable hands. It is in the hands of his children that he successfully continues his vision.
The Ministry of Development is next to every Greek production company that has a vision and a plan to grow, both by participating in investment projects and by managing the very important energy issue that burdens production costs.
I wish you with all my heart to centimeter them. Be strong, to continue to cover thousands of buildings with your insulating materials. To continue raising the Greek flag high all over the world.
Happy birthday!
