Central Bank: see what appears in the query of amounts receivable

by

On the first day of release of Amounts Receivable from the Central Bank, Brazilians find different ways to complete the transfer, which vary according to the institution where the money is forgotten. The period for consultation and transfer of the forgotten R$ 4 billion began this Monday (7), for those born before 1968. There are 28 million individuals and companies that will be able to request the forwarding of the amounts to their bank accounts.

When completing the transfer, there are cases where the request is made directly by the system; in others, it is necessary to send an email or contact the telephone number provided in the official register. Each transfer will have to be requested separately and, next to each amount, the contact form to request the money will appear. The Central Bank warns against scams and for the citizen not to provide passwords or make payments to receive the values.

The first step is to access the website valorareceber.bcb.gov.br and then login to gov.br with a silver or gold level. The Central Bank will then show the amount available in each institution and the reason for the return.

In a query to which the report had access, the citizen had R$ 43.57 in a consortium made in a bank and R$ 0.31 in a consortium company. For one of the values, he provided the Pix key, phone number, and email. A protocol was then generated. For the other transfer, it was necessary to send an email to the institution.

Citizens who do not have a Pix key can also request the transfer of values. In these cases, after completing the transfer request through the system, the institution will contact you, according to the Central Bank.

How to create Pix keys?

If you do not have a Pix key and wish to create it, the individual or legal customer must access the application of the banks in which they have an account, enter the Pix section and choose between four types of key to register. Are they:

  • CPF/CNPJ

  • Email

  • Phone number

  • Random key (set of randomly generated numbers, letters and symbols), called EVP (Virtual Payment Address)

An account can have multiple keys associated with it, but each key only works for a certain account.
