Between December 17-20 (a few days before Christmas) will be paid the accuracy check to 1,900,000 vulnerable consumers. The extraordinary financial aid will come from the extraordinary taxation of the surplus profits of the refineries, amounting to 243 million euros.

At the same time, according to TA NEA, the government’s financial staff is looking for an additional 140 million euros to pay a precision check at Christmas to about 930,000 low-income pensioners with an income of up to 700 euros.

The beneficiaries

The five categories of beneficiaries who will receive the aid just before Christmas are the following:

1. The 700,000 pensioners with a personal difference will receive an extraordinary financial aid of 100-200 euros as follows:

– Those who receive a sum of main pensions up to 700 euros will be given an aid of 200 euros.
– Those who receive the sum of their main pensions from 700.1 to 1,100 euros will be given an aid of 150 euros.
– Those who receive the sum of their main pensions from 1,100.1 to 1,600 euros will be given an aid of 100 euros.

2. The 767,000 beneficiaries of OPECA’s child benefit will receive an additional installment of child benefit.

3. The 220,000 beneficiaries of OPECA’s disability allowance and the beneficiaries of the extra-institutional allowance and of other e-EFKA disability benefits they will receive an aid of 200 euros.

4. The 35,000 uninsured seniorsbeneficiaries of the corresponding OPECA allowance, will receive an aid of 200 euros.

5. The 205,000 beneficiaries of the minimum guaranteed income they will receive an additional 50% of the monthly allowance during the month of December.
