Share prices on the stock market closed with a rise, which approached the levels of 1,440 units.

European stock markets are also moving upwards, after the ECB’s decision to reduce interest rates, for the third time in 2024.

The market completed three bullish sessions, during which the main stock index registered a total gain of 1.93%.

The General Price Index closed today at 1,438.67 points, marking an increase of 0.60%.

The value of transactions amounted to 118.96 million euros, while 21,879,075 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.58%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.45%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Elvalhalcor (+2.61%), Titan (+2.28%), Ethniki (+2.20%), PPA (+1.44 %) and Eurobank (+1.34%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of OPAP (-0.88%), ELPE (-0.70%) and Piraeus (-0.68%).

Piraeus and Ethniki presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 5,949,001 and 4,216,899 shares, respectively.

The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nthniki with 31.45 million euros and Piraeus with 22.61 million euros.

60 stocks moved up, 36 fell and 21 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Vioter +9.52% and Nafpaktos Textiles +9.41%

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Moda Bango -5.79% and ELBE -4.46%.
