The important further prospects of strengthening business relations between Greece and Albania were at the center of the first business mission to Tirana organized by the Greek-Albanian Industrial, Commercial and Professional Association in Tirana.

As the president of the Association Panagiotis Roumis pointed out, the sectors with the greatest prospects for strengthening business relations between Greece and Albania are the construction industry, hospitality and tourism, as well as renewable energy. Businesses in these sectors can benefit from existing infrastructure investments and increased needs for sustainable solutions, both in Albania and Greece.

In addition, the sector of agricultural products and trade cooperation also has potential for further development, he estimated.

Business partnerships are not limited to Greece and Albania. There are project and synergy opportunities throughout the wider Balkan region, where the need for renewable energy solutions, construction projects and innovative products is constantly growing.

In particular, the infrastructure, energy and logistics sectors offer prospects for joint investments and collaborations in neighboring markets.

As stated in a related announcement, the mission included 221 one-on-one business meetings between Greek and Albanian companies, as well as greetings with the participation of ministers of the neighboring country and business executives.
