Almost 85% of the industries in São Paulo say they do not intend to seek bank financing to pay the 13th salary of employees this year, according to the survey Rumos da Fiesp and Ciesp with 459 businessmen, carried out between the 4th and 29th of October. It is the highest level in the historical series, started in 2008.
About 60% of companies adopted provisioning during the year to bankroll the 13th. It was also the highest level in the survey series. And it surpassed the result of 2020, when it was registered just over 54%.
Among the businesses that intend to seek financing, the average value of resources represents 80% of the total payroll. Almost 90% of them say they found bank credit more expensive or much more expensive than last year.
The term was perceived as equivalent for about 80% of them, even according to the survey.
