Druckfarben Group’s annual report records an increase in turnover of 8.35% and an increase in gross profitability of approximately 21% compared to 2022
Increase turnover by 8.35% and gross profitability by approximately 21% compared to 2022, but also notable investment and development moves are reflected in the recent annual report of the Druckfarben Group.
Specifically, in 2023 the percentage increase in revenue from sales was formed at 8.35% with 85.28 million euros of total turnover against 78.71 million euros of the previous year (2022).
The sales of the architectural paints, thermal insulation systems and mortars sector, with the brands KRAFT Paints and BIOCLIMApresented 13.50% increasewhile the sales of the flexible packaging sector recorded an increase of 5.75%, compared to the previous year.
In addition to the above, they showed an upward trend the consolidated profits of the Groupas a result of the increase in turnover, the optimization of production processes and the reduction of the cost of raw materials. Gross profits reached 27.15 million. euros, compared to 22.43 million euros of the previous year (an increase of approximately 21%), while the net profitability before taxes it increased to 6.53 million euros from 4.44 million euros of the previous year (2022).
The image of strength presented by the Group is reinforced by the implementation of the investment plan, the deepening of ESG standards and the principles of sustainability, the creation of new jobs, the distinctions of sustainability and working environment, but of course, also by the innovative products that it consistently launches .
It is noted that the investment of about 8 million euros in building facilitiesmechanical and laboratory equipment of the inks unit, which started in August 2023, will be completed by the end of 2024. With the expansion of the building facilities, the Group increases the storage areas, modernizes and increases the production capacity with the latest technology machinery while strengthening the R&D department with the aim of further developing new, innovative products. In addition, the completion of the installation of the 1.25 MW photovoltaic systems at the Chalkida and Aspropyrgos factories is progressing, which (systems) will cover 70% of the Group’s energy needs in Greece.
