It is put into operation new digital application of the Energy Product Tanker Tank Registerfor the inventory of tank trucks of private (FIX) or public use (FDX) that transport energy products. The new digital register offers important data in tracking tankers and fighting fuel smuggling.

In particular, the new application is the first step towards real-time tracking of energy product tankers through geo-location devices.

It is recalled that with the Joint Ministerial Decision (A 1158/2024) of Deputy Minister of National Economy and FinanceChristos Dimas, the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Vassiliou Oikonomou, and the Commander of the Independent Public Revenue Authority, Giorgos Pitsilis, are determined:

  • the obligees (tanker vehicle owners, accredited tonnage operators, telematics providers, who have received approval from the “Telematics Providers Suitability Approval Committee”)
  • the registration data by obligor category
  • the terms, conditions, data and the process of electronic inventory, registration and posting of vehicle data.

In order to register the data required on a case-by-case basis, the debtors enter the application through the digital portal myAADE (myaade.gov.gr), in the path Applications > Customs Services > Fuel input – output system > Energy Product Tanker Tank Register.
