In 13 days from today the so-called accuracy check will be paid to the beneficiaries – What amounts will the disabled and families with children receive
By Vangelis Dourakis
In 13 days from today, the so-called will be paid to the beneficiaries accuracy check: Pensioners with a personal difference of more than 10 euros, People with Disabilities, uninsured seniors, families with children and vulnerable population groups are on the list of “winners”, i.e. those who will receive the emergency aid. But there are also the “losers” and they are none other than low pensioners with no personal difference, who will receive increases from 7 to a maximum of 17 euros.
The amounts that pensioners will receive as emergency aid will reach up to 200 euros. The emergency allowance for families it will correspond to one monthly installment of the child benefit. Beneficiaries of the Minimum Guaranteed Income will receive half a monthly installment of the aid they receive as an emergency allowance.
How much will retirees get?
Therefore, pensioners whose personal difference does not allow them to see money in their pocket, from the planned annual increases, will receive an emergency allowance first of all.
Thus, time is counting down the payment of the extraordinary financial aid to around 670,000 pensioners with pensions of up to 1,600 euros, who maintain a personal difference of more than 10 euros.
More specifically:
– for those receiving the sum of main pensions up to 700 euros, an aid of 200 euros will be given,
– for those receiving the sum of main pensions from 700.1 to 1100 euros, an aid of 150 euros will be given,
– for those who receive the sum of main pensions from 1100.1 to 1600 euros, an aid of 100 euros will be given.
“Lost” as mentioned above will be the pensioners with a sum of earnings of up to 700 euros, who have no personal difference, as they are not included among the beneficiaries of the extraordinary allowance, unless there are relevant last-minute announcements by the Prime Minister in Parliament, during the vote of the budget on December 15.
The specific portion of pensioners (with earnings of up to 700 euros, without personal difference), will see their pensions increase by 2.4% anyway.
This practically means that in absolute numbers they will receive amounts that vary at very low levels, namely between 7 and 17 euros.
Who will receive an emergency aid of €200?
An aid of 200 euros will also be given to beneficiaries of e-EFKA disability allowances. These are approximately 37,000 beneficiaries of the non-institutional allowance and other disability allowances of the e-EFKA. The cost is 7 million. euro.
An extraordinary allowance of 200 euros will also be given to beneficiaries of the OPECA DISABLED allowance. It concerns approximately 185,000 people and the cost is estimated at 37 million.
An allowance of 200 euros will be paid to uninsured seniors. Uninsured elderly beneficiaries of the corresponding OPECA allowance (approximately 35,000) will receive an aid of 200 euros. The cost is estimated at 7 million. euro.
Beneficiaries of the absolute disability allowance for pensioners of the former OGA who only receive the basic pension if they have a lifetime disability rate of 100%, as well as the beneficiaries of the sickness and incapacity allowance of State pensioners, will also receive an extraordinary aid of 200 euros.
What amounts will families with children receive?
Beneficiaries of the OPEKA child benefit will receive an additional installment of child benefit. It concerns approximately 767,000 beneficiaries and the cost amounts to 70 million. euro.
It is recalled that the amount of the allowance amounts to 70 or 42 or 28 euros for each child for the first and second child per month, depending on the amount of income and to 140 or 84 or 56 from the third and for each subsequent child, per month .
Beneficiaries of the minimum guaranteed income (approximately 205,000) will receive an additional 50% of the monthly allowance during the month of December. The cost is estimated at 22 million. euro.
Today, the amount of the allowance for one-person households is 216 euros per month, for each additional adult in the household it is increased by 108 euros per month and for each additional minor member of the household by 54 euros per month.
Therefore, a couple with 2 children who received an allowance of 432 euros, will receive an additional 216 euros of extraordinary allowance, i.e. a total of 648 euros.
