União BR, a movement that was founded in 2020 amid donations from the pandemic and continued to help states affected by this year’s floods, will now send resources to victims of the war in Ukraine.
The initiative, which takes place in partnership with Simple Nutri, of dehydrated food, was launched this Monday (14).
The logistics for sending the donations to Europe will be carried out by Latam’s Solidarity Plane program, which offers transport in sanitary and environmental emergencies.
According to União BR, the cargo will be sent to a grain farm in Romania, managed by a Brazilian who is hosting refugees.
