Extension of the submission of the Pothen Esches declaration, until February 28, 2025 provides for an amendment tabled in the Parliament, to the bill of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport entitled “Restructuring of the railway sector and strengthening of transport regulatory agencies”.

How the new platform works for Pothen Esches

This year, the platform will include significant changes compared to previous years. The most characteristic differentiation, according to the design, is that all elements of the taxpayers’ property situation – income, real estate, deposits, investment products – will be able to be pumped automatically. The taxpayer will simply confirm their correctness.

See in detail how the new platform works:

  • It draws data from financial institutions and credit institutions, with the aim of automating and facilitating the submission of declarations by debtors.
  • It enhances the transparency and control of declarations, as the available data for each obligee is pre-populated automatically. It is noted that to date data has been collected from 114 financial organizations and credit institutions.
  • It has a separate submission of declarations by the spouses of the liable persons, who according to Law 5026/23 acquire an independent obligation to submit.
  • It works with the National Register of Communications, emep.gov.gr, of the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance, with the aim of more efficient and immediate information to the liable persons.
