PIS review: see how to make the consultation to know if you will receive

The government should disclose this Wednesday (16) new beneficiaries of the PIS/Pasep 2022 salary bonus, which will pay up to R$ 1,212 for people who worked with a formal contract or in the public service in 2020.

Dataprev, the technology company responsible for processing allowance data, reviewed 1.9 million registrations after identifying inconsistencies in information sent by companies in Rais (Annual Social Information Report).

The company reported that the review was completed on Tuesday (15) and that the consultation would be made available the following day. With this, it is possible to know if you are entitled to the values ​​​​this Wednesday.

Private sector workers can check the PIS allowance through the Caixa Tem, Caixa Trabalhador and Digital Work Card applications (see step-by-step below), or by calling 0800-7260207.

For public servants, the Pasep allowance can be consulted on the Banco do Brasil website, in consult your Pasep (click here), at the bank’s telephone service center, at numbers 4004-0001 or 0800-7290001, or by Alô Trabalhador, on telephone 158. The server must inform the registration number in Pasep or CPF and the date of birth.

The PIS/Pasep 2022 salary allowance payment schedule is in progress. Private workers born between January and July and civil servants with the final registration number from 0 to 6 can now withdraw the money — see the complete calendar below.

The government has not yet released details of what the payment schedule will look like for those who were approved after the Dataprev review.

Consultation is available for those born from January to June. In the Caixa Trabalhador application it is also possible to consult the payment calendar and simulate the amount of the salary bonus, if it is not yet available. To do this, you need to click on “Allowance Calculator”, in the lower right corner of the screen.

How to access the query in the Digital Work Card application

• Install the official Digital Work Card application (if you already have it, you will need to update it)
• Access the system with your CPF number and gov.br password. If it’s your first time, register
• Click on the “Benefits” icon in the lower right corner
• In “Salary Allowance”, it will appear if you are qualified or not

The amount of the salary allowance changes according to the number of months worked in 2020, the reference year for payments made this year. If the beneficiary worked all year 2020, he will receive a minimum wage, which in 2022 is R$1,212. If you worked one month, you will receive R$ 101. The salary bonus is one of the benefits linked to the value of the minimum wage.

The government will also pay the old salary bonus, referring to 2019, for those who did not withdraw the money within the deadline until June 2021. A total of R$ 208 million is forgotten and can be withdrawn by 320 thousand workers, on the same calendar dates of 2022 releases.

Who is eligible for the 2022 allowance?

To be able to receive the allowance in 2022, the year in which payment will be made in relation to work carried out in 2020, the following requirements must be met:

• Be registered in the PIS/Pasep program or in the Cnis for at least five years — that is, the first formal job must have taken place in 2015 or earlier
• Have worked for at least 30 days, consecutive or not, with a formal contract in 2020, for employers who contribute to PIS or Pasep
• Have received up to two average minimum wages of monthly remuneration in the period worked, which correspond to R$ 2,090, considering the minimum wage of R$ 1,045 in force in 2020
• Have your data reported by the employer (legal entity or government) correctly in Rais or eSocial of the base year considered for calculation (2020)

Who is not entitled to the salary bonus

• domestic servant;
• rural workers employed by individuals;
• urban workers employed by individuals;
• workers employed by a natural person equivalent to a legal entity

How to withdraw the PIS?

Workers who have a current or savings account at Caixa and are entitled to PIS can withdraw it with a card and identification document at Caixa branches, lottery houses, ATMs and Caixa Aqui correspondents.

Those who receive the amounts through Digital Social Savings can move the amount in the Caixa Tem app. To make withdrawals, it is necessary to select the option “Withdraw without card”, generate the code for withdrawing the money and use it at ATMs, lottery and Caixa Aqui correspondents.

If the worker does not have a Caixa account and the bank has not been able to open the digital savings account on behalf of the beneficiary, the withdrawal can be carried out in person at branches with presentation of the PIS number and an official photo document, such as RG or driver’s license. .

It is also possible to withdraw using the Citizen Card with the password at ATMs, lottery units and Caixa Aqui stations, according to the payment schedule.

How to withdraw Pasep?

The Pasep allowance is intended for those who are enrolled in the program as a federal, state or municipal public servant or employee of public companies and mixed capital companies.

The benefit is deposited in a current and savings account in the name of the holder, at Banco do Brasil. Account holders from other institutions can transfer the amounts via TED (Electronic Transfer Available).

The withdrawal can also be made at Banco do Brasil branches, with the presentation of an official identification document.
