This payment week starting on pensioners and beneficiaries of benefits: The first to go to the fund from this afternoon already are those who have lost their jobs, non-Employees, but also those who receive supplementary pensions from the private sector. The money will be credited to bank accounts after noon and those with a debit card can withdraw.

Those who still prefer… counters will receive the amounts allocated to them from tomorrow.

Until Friday, all pensioners will be paid, as well as benefit beneficiaries, including a portion of those who are entitled to A21 child benefit and did not receive it last year. This allowance is also the most popular among the aids granted by the Organization of Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity.

What will apply to pensions?

As far as pensioners are concerned, as is well known, the payment is made based on the framework of paying pensions in two installments, which provides for:

  • on the fourth last working day of the previous month to pay the pensions of the former Non-Employee Funds [ΟΓΑ, ΟΑΕΕ, ΕΤΑΑ]with the private sector ancillaries being paid on the same day
  • on each penultimate working day of the previous month, the main pensions of the former Employee Funds and the main public pensions (IKA-ETAM, NAT, ETAT, ETAP-MME, OTE, PPC, BANKS, TSEAPGSO, TSP-ISAP and PUBLIC) will be paid, when the State’s subsidies are paid.
  • All pension payment dates

Therefore, the payment of the pensions for the month of February will be made as follows:

  • On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, the main pensions will be paid from the former Non-Employee OAEE, OGA and ETAA funds, the main pensions awarded from the establishment of the EFKA and after, with Law 4387/2016, through the OPS-EFKA (pensioners Employees & Non-Employees from 1.1.2017 onwards) and all the supplementary pensions of the private sector (Non-Employed and Employed).
  • These amounts will be credited to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries one day before and specifically, from this afternoon, Monday 27 January 2025.
  • On Thursday, January 30, the main pensions of the former Employee Funds will be paid [ΙΚΑ-ΕΤΑΜ, τραπεζών, ΟΤΕ, ΔΕΗ, ΛΟΙΠΩΝ ΕΝΤΑΣΣΟΜΕΝΩΝ (ΤΣΕΑΠΓΣΟ, ΤΣΠ-ΗΣΑΠ), ΝΑΤ, ΕΤΑΤ και ΕΤΑΠ-ΜΜΕ] as well as the main and auxiliary pensions of the State.

The amounts in question will be credited to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on the evening of Wednesday 29 January 2025.

When will OPECA benefits be paid?

OPECA will pay the pensions of Uninsured Seniors on Friday, January 31. The crediting of these amounts will take place on the afternoon of Thursday, January 30.
On the same date, all other allowances of the Organization will be paid, i.e. the A21 child allowance, together with its retroactive benefits, the welfare-disability allowances, the maternity allowance, the rent allowance, as well as the Minimum Guaranteed Income.
