On February 21, the platform for submitting applications relating to the “Refine-Immigrant” program is re-opening as the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family announced, Sofia Zacharaki In Faye Mavragani on SKAI television, while for “My House II” the eligibility applications are now issued immediately.

“We will be ready and the platform will open again on February 21. We have substantially improved “renovate – rent” as we increased the subsidy to 60%, that is, we cover 60% on costs that will move up to 13,500 euros “the minister pointed out, stressing that” we are talking about operational upgrades and interventions that facilitate long -term lease of the apartment. Long -term lease is a prerequisite for paying the second installment of the grant. “

Sofia Zacharakis was asked about the course of the program “My house II“, He said,” Since yesterday, anyone who applies through the implementation of Gov.gr. He learns immediately if he is eligible or eligible. So far the average eligibility is about 72%. So 72% of those who come in to make their application receive a certificate of eligibility. ”

Regarding the number of beneficiaries, the minister clarified that “about 50% are married and 50% unmarried while the number of single parent families are starting to grow quite a significant income. Of course we will see from now on what about approvals because the very important thing is in the bank, ”Sofia Zacharakis said.

The minister spoke about the process of finding a home, stressing that “with the improvements made in the program, I recall that the value of the contract is 250,000 euros, you offer, more and more options. We have seen that more than 55,000 apartments are moving around the perimeter of the eligible apartments. We see, however, that too many stakeholders are moving in high demand areas such as: The center of Athens, there are few apartments available. The northern suburbs also have difficulties to find an apartment. What I have been seeing over time is that in the first program some have “swelled” at about 5 to 10% and above the prices of the apartments, but there has been a normalization afterwards, and now we notice that we have not found remarkable, so far increases. ”

For the disbursements of the “My Home I” program, Sofia Zacharakis emphasized that “disbursements are moving at 7,700. We still have room for the remaining 9,000. In “My House II” the prime minister, twice as much and we are now moving at 2 billion euros. It gives room for waiting and of course we should point out that Greece is not just Athens. It is good to say that the program is moving well in the region. At the end of “My House I” and “My House II” over 30,000 of our fellow citizens, couples will have found and have their own home and is the first major intervention in housing policy I think after years. “

Responding to the possibility that there will be “My House III”, the minister clarified that “we do not currently have the budgetary framework for a new housing program. I wish the prime minister would find the margin, because the prime minister would be positive. “
