Specifically, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Development and Investment, in the period from March 18 to March 20, 2022 (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays), the Inter-Service Market Control Unit (DIMEA) carried out 130 inspections in stores – companies and 402 inspections in natural persons for the certificate of vaccination or disease for the observance of the measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus, in Attica, Eastern Macedonia – Thrace and Central Macedonia.
They were imposed fines total amount of 3,300 euros for non-compliance with the prescribed rules and more specifically for non-posting of the maximum number of allowed persons and operating rules of companies.
It is pointed out that in Region of Central Macedonia:
– On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, the service imposed another suspension for 15 days and a fine of 5,000 euros in a hairdresser – beauty services for not developing a plexiglass divider.
– On Thursday, February 17, 2022, the service imposed another suspension of operation for 15 days and a fine of 5,000 euros in a nail prosthesis and product application store – wholesale and retail of nail prosthetic products, for not developing a plexiglass partition.
Trafficking
Regarding the controls for dealing with illegal trade in the whole territory, it is noted that:
During the period from 14.03.2022 to 20.03.2022, a total of 206 inspections were carried out and 32 infringements related to illegal trade were confirmed. In collaboration with the Hellenic Police and the Municipal Police of Thessaloniki, the operations of DIMEA. to deal with illegal trade took place in Attica, Eastern Macedonia – Thrace and Central Macedonia. Fines totaling 70,500 euros were imposed for violations related to the use of a card acceptance terminal and means of payment by card (POS) and for dealing with the illegal trafficking of counterfeit / counterfeit products.
They were confiscated 7,446 pieces of imitation items, which were sold from online stores (eshop).
