By gambled on a global poker table likened their CNN financial analyst sweeping duties that announced yesterday by Donald Trumpwarning that there are uncertain times.
“He uses American consumers as a chip on the world poker table,” said analyst Rana Foroohar, who predicted that the “high bet game” would shake markets.
Foroohar also predicted that employees in the US car industry would support Trump in his move.
She noted that Europe would return with a “strong response”, while reactions to developing markets may vary, as he said, depending on how much they rely on the US for financial security.
The analyst observed that the duties of this Trump term are different from those of his first term that were mainly aimed at China.
“This is very different. This is what Trump says he will overturn his system Breton Woods. It will overturn globalization as we know it, “he said, referring to the 1944 agreement that laid the foundations of the economic class after World War II.
“I think it will definitely be the decisive moment of his presidency. I hope it does not push the US and the world into recession, “he added.
